Ishaqzaade is a romantic drama movie written and directed by Habib Faisal. The producer of this movie was Aditya Chopra. Star cast of this movie includes Arjun Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Gauhar Khan and Ratan Singh Rathore. Arjun Kapoor played the role of Parma, Zoya Qureshi was played by Parineeti Chopra, Gauhar Khan played the role of Chand Bibi and Aftab Quareshi was played by Ratan Singh Rathore. In the movie shows the eage love story of two defiant opposer individuals. The Chauhans and the Qureshis are two political families whose rivalry and mutual hatred for one another goes back generations. Parma is a good for nothing local Hindu enforcer grandson of the patriarch chauvinist, Grandfather Ghauhan who often takes digs at Parma for being the useless son of his widowed daughter in law. This makes Parma attempts to prove himself worthy. Zoya is the trigger happy hot tempered only daughter in a Muslim home full of brothers along with her parents. When the local elections take place Parma and Zoya’s canvassing tries lead to a clash between them. They fall in love and elope. Later making love and kissing and lip locking, Parma discloses to Zoya that he tricked her into marrying him and defiled her to take vengeance against her clan and the disrespect she caused him by slapping him when he misbehaved with her.
